Sam Ferrufino, Development Intern

Sam is a sophomore from Dallas, Texas, studying at Furman University with a double major in Biology and English. She is interested in marine biology and zoology, with a focus in teaching as well. Her favorite activities include hiking, photography, reading, and drawing!

Q:  Favorite outdoor activity (and local park/trail, etc.)

A: My favorite activity to do outside is to hike and take pictures! Nature is just so beautiful that I love just simply walking around it and taking photos.

Q: Best place you've traveled to?

A: The best place I have ever traveled to is Cherokee, NC! I went there for a trip with the Cothran Center to learn about Native Americans and it just was an overall amazing experience!

Q: How did you get involved with FORR?

A: I talked with Andrea at a career/internship fair at Furman and all the project and ideals immediately caught my eye. I just knew it was an organization I wanted to be a part of!
